Building Control Services for Builders and Property Developers

We're the recommended building control experts in Derbyshire and Staffordshire Moorlands.

Whether you are a builder, developer or site manager, DBCP provides an independent building control service from application through to completion.

Our registered building control professionals assess plans, inspect work at key stages and determine whether the information and evidence provided demonstrate compliance with the Building Regulations.

As a regulatory body, DBCP cannot act as part of the project team, provide design advice or recommend construction solutions. Responsibility for designing, managing and carrying out compliant building work remains with the client, designers and contractors.

Early engagement can help you understand the building control process, the information required and when inspections should be requested. This can support an efficient assessment and reduce the risk of delays caused by missing evidence or unresolved compliance issues.

As a builder, here's why you should choose DBCP...

  • Competitive pricing
  • Regulatory oversight to ensure compliance
  • Professionally qualified team
  • Effective and efficient service
  • Highly experienced in domestic, commercial, residential and historic buildings
  • Unrivalled local knowledge of ground conditions
  • Combined knowledge of eight Local Authorities
  • Inspections available Monday - Friday
  • Local and national projects
  • Complete end-to end service, from project inception to completion
