Inspection Service

Site Inspections should be requested 24 hours ahead of required date (Monday – Friday).

Site visits are only available during our normal office hours (8am - 4.30pm) and do not include weekends and Bank Holidays.

DBCP works to government codes of conduct and recognised industry regulations to protect people's safety and health and welfare in and around buildings.

Every project is different, that’s why our Building Control service is bespoke to each individual project, ensuring the most effective and efficient service is provided.

Street Naming & Numbering

If your project is based within Bolsover, Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire, we are responsible for street naming and numbering in those areas.

Examples of our experience working with clients across Derbyshire

Chesterfield Royal Hospital Emergency Department

DBCP oversaw building control for Chesterfield Royal Hospital’s new £27 million Emergency Department; the hospital’s largest development in almost 40 years.

Matlock Spa

Supporting Phase 1 of the regeneration of Matlock's former Cawdor Quarry into the stunning residential scheme Matlock Spa.
A single hospital bed in a room at Ashgate Hospice. The bed has a sunset mural behind it and there is a portable table on wheels across the bottom of the bed. There is medical apparatus on the walls beside the bed. There is a comfortable chair and a bistro table and two chairs in a glass atrium space which has floor to ceiling doors and windows which allow light into the room.

Ashgate Hospicecare

Redeveloping bed bays at Ashgate Hospicecare into 9 single bedrooms, has created much-needed private spaces for patients.

Shirebrook Town Hall

We were delighted to be involved with the construction of a brand new town hall in Shirebrook – the first one the town has had!

Wirksworth Heritage Centre

The story of Wirksworth - a fascinating and quirky market town on the southern edge of the Derbyshire Peak District – has been told in an equally fascinating Grade II listed building that DBCP was delighted to be involved with its conversion.

Barn Conversion

The Linked Barn is a prestigious barn conversion developed at Dunston Grange Farm by the two-time LABC award winning bespoke construction firm, Lynnic Associates Ltd
There are two semi-detached houses, one of which has a single-story extension covered in Pebble dash. The house has three white framed windows and black rooftops on main body of the house and on the extension in front.

Single-Storey Extension

The rear of this 1920s semi-detached house was extended with a single-storey extension to create a large open plan, modern kitchen.
