Demolitions

Demolition work is regulated by Sections 80-83 of the Building Act 1984 and involves permissions from the local council.

Being a partnership made up of six established Local Authority Building Control Services, we know how to give you the most effective and efficient service possible.

We’ve made the application process simple and straightforward. Using our online form you can apply for Building Control consent to demolish a building in accordance with The Building Regulations 2000 – Building Act 1984.

Dangerous Structures

Structures can become dangerous in a number of ways. The most recurrent issues we see include:

  • Loose roof tiles
  • Fire damage
  • Neglected garden walls
  • Unstable chimneys
  • Vehicle impact

We can assess the severity of the situation and act or advise accordingly.

Using our online form, you can report a dangerous issue with a building or structure quickly and easily. Please do attach documents, plans or photographs of the dangerous structure with the form to support your application. There is a maximum limit of 100mb.
